It's very hard to deal with big company like HD. However I agree with you that you should have the right to know the report, but it may not be easy. The reason they don't want to release the report to you is because they do not want you to argue with them before they have a decision.

I think your best option is to push them to fix the problem now, tell them that if they don't fix the problem within 3 days then you will seek for 3rd party professionals and bill to HD.

Tell them you really need to work on the Home Office but now you are afraid to go into the room... balah balah balach.
