1. Here is my two-cent opinion. Go to the court in purpose of obtaining some judicial experience, you might be the luckiest person in the world to win the case although your hope to win is slim. The good thing is you won't get any penalty for going to the court and even losing the case.

2. You can go to the driving class for 6 hours to reduce almost 50% of your fine without any record. In some states, the insurance company will give you 10% discount by showing your driving class certificate to them.

3. Pay for it but take the option to defer it for 3 months. You won't get any record if you don't have any violation of the traffic law within the following 3 months.

4. Check these options out. The law varies from state to state. I am in Texas.

5. This is a really tiny thing. Don't bother to worry about it. Your only loss is $170.00 at most.
