let insurance handle the case first. If you lose , then appeal the case to a high court. at that time, you can hire your own lawyer.
The guy just want to have a little bit more money, fight to the end, he has to pay the lawyer too, just see who can afford the case.
Just remember, poor can not fight with the riches.
