在哪個州？

法律上有句俗話“possession is 9/10 of the law". 房子在你單人名下，而且是他贈與你的。那麽default position就是房子是你單人的。

當然情況不那麽簡單，但是他要把房子分走一部分要花額外功夫。具體法律怎麽樣，要看州法。
