Application deposit is a type of contracting law. The deposit is a pledge to enter a contract. It does not have to be written. If the applicant is not qualified, the deposit must be refunded fully. In this case, the applicant is qualified, but failed to signed a lease in the last hours. The whole process made me very uncomfortable and wasted my time. The applicant also stole several handrunds dollar stuff in the apt.
