最近去看了一個新牙醫。第一次去時是免費谘詢。但他們還是報到我的報險公司。希望報險公司會報銷（$37 for oral evaluation）。但我報險公司沒有報銷一分錢因為我才做過那項檢查。這家診所也保證他們不會讓我付$37。但是從他們發給我的帳單上看，Not only I have been charged for $37 but also $7.20 (debit adjustment, I guess that is because I pay them using credit card). 

I paid $1431, my insurance paid $934.15. So totally dental office has received $2365.15. Total charge for my treatment is $1932 (add all the charges from charge column, but don't add $37.00 and $7.20 since those two charges are not supposed to be counted).

So the office should refund me: 2365.15 - 1932 = $433.15.

Since the office actually charged me $37.00 and $7.20, this is why I only get refund 388.95 ( 433.15 – 37 – 7.20 = 388.95) instead of $433.15.

However, the dental office insisted that they didn’t charge me for $37.00. (here is the quote from their office: You were not charged $37.00 and did not pay for it. We charged $37.00 to the insurance and the claim was denied and we wrote off the cost. You did not pay that out of pocket. ) I have sent several emails to explain why I think I have been charged for that $37 and $7.20, however, they just didn't get it. It is not difficulty math problem, isn't it? Do you think I get it wrong or their office is wrong. If you think their office got it wrong. Any suggestion what should I do next in order to get my money back? Thank you for your help.
