How can I get my money back?

I made a reservation of a hotal on line (orbit.com). The reservation was not allowed to be canceled or changed. When I checked my trip information, there was a cancel button on the page. I thought, the button may have some cancellation information (phone number or something), so I clicked it. That click canceled my reservation without any confirmation. I called their custom service right away, but they said that they cannot put my reservation back, nor gave my money back. I think that was very unreasonable. Could I stop my credit card payment of the reservation?
