你還沒有付錢，要伸張什麽正義？

你不能控製世界，但是你可以控製你對世界的反應。同樣，對方來找你要錢不是能受你控製的，你能夠控製的，就是自己的反應，底線是不給人家錢。

不要理對方的追帳。如果對方來告，按以下論點辯護。

1. landscaping company
(a) we had a contract with defendant
(b) we performed the job specified in the contract
(c) defendant didn't pay us as per contract
(d) we ask the court to award us the owed money

2. your reply
(a) we agree that we had a contract with the plaintiff
(b) plaintiff failed to substantially perform the contract because
(b.1) the contract specified this/that/and others,
(b.2) the plaintiff did these jobs completely wrong
present pictures of failed jobs, dead trees etc.
present communications between the company and you proofing they acknowledge the problem etc.
any other facts helpful to you.
(c) because the plaintiff didn't substantially perform the contract, we are not obliged to pay.
