Mineral and Mineral rights when buying house in TX

Hello Experts,

my title company says I need to research buy mineral right insurance by myself, they will not do it for me?
so do I need to change title company or is this a norm, most peoples can't get mineral rights. My agents told me
most of the time mineral rights were bought by peoples years ago, they only sell land but not mineral rights. Thank you.
