Sheriff service of process is usually only for a physical person. I don't know your specific state law so I don't know what to tell you about Sheriff. Serving company is different, usually through their "registered agent" when they register their company.
State secretary said they can serve the company, what are you worried about? The office will send the summon to the address on file, give you a receipt, and you take the receipt to the court and tell the judge the company is served.
False address is their problem. You don't care if they actually received the paper. Your priority is to satisfy the service of process requirement by the judge. If they don't show up, you get a default judgment.
It is a common mistake to confuse actually doing something with doing something to satisfy legal requirement.
