請求有關小額訴訟指教

我的侄女是國際學生。數天前，她曾有交通事故。她準備提交小額官司，因為被告沒有保險。
下麵是她在法院表格上寫的原因。請指教。

xxx failed to yield right of way, and caused damage to my car, when he drove yyy's car on mm/dd/yyyy. yyy is the owner of the car without liability coverage. For accident details, please see police report.
