Most people will just let it go as the amount is not big and the insurance will cover it. Especially forthe people who use credit card insurance, that is why the term is not prominent yet.
I welcome devil's advocate. It helps me to form my point and reasoning better. It is not really that much of a deal from money perspective but I hate deceitful practice. And, if there is a record chinese are not easy customers to manipulate, it may help other people.
And I totally understand not all the times righteousness prevails. I was rear ended by and the other driver lied about the situation and claimed I was changing lane. I had to let it go as the damage is less than $2000 And it is hard to prove whose fault that is when there was no eye witness and doing an collision impact evaluatin cost about the same as the damage. Plus I cannot enforce collection anyway.
The law practice relies on evidence and witness, it is not perfect but still the best system.
