Divorce doesn't mean you two are going to be enemies. Selling the investment properties takes time. If you want to sell quickly, you have to reduce the price. Even if you are get decent offer, the transaction will cost at least 7% of the value. Down the road, if you can find some tenants or other people to buy it without agent, you can avoid 6% agent fee. I have seen a lot of quick sell due to divorce. It is very irrational.
