Why by default, a lot of people here think that you want to make a lot of money from an accident. I don't think so. For us, we have our own career, who care about those amount of money (if you take the time and energy needed into consideration). I know you just want to protect yourself and your sister. So do the cost and benefit analysis, then do whatever you think is right. My suggestion is that before you take an action, always think what's worst result and what's the best.
