純粹法律的回答

如果你沒有接到法庭的subpoena，你可以不出庭；如果你接到subpoena，你最好出庭。我說最好的意思是沒有人能夠阻止你違法，但是不理睬subpoena的後果是嚴重的，包括以蔑視法院（contempt of court）被逮捕。

其他都是個人道德的取舍，我相信各人有自己優先輕重。
