I was injured at work last Oct. I have been keep out of work since then. The doctor tells me my treatment will take at least several more months.
Now my employer email me if I can not return to work by the end of this month, they will terminate my employment. Is it legal?
This will be counted as "fire" or "layoff"? If it is counted as fire, whether it will effect my unemployment benefit and/or future employment?
If the employer terminates my employment, the workers compensation insurance will stop my TTD, right?
The NJ state unemployment benefit seems only $600 per week(taxable), much lower than the TTD $810 per week(no taxable).
Is there any way I can stop or delay the employer terminate my employment?
Whether I can get a termination package by law?
My company offers 2 weeks paid vacation days and 1 week paid sick days every year.
Although I do not go to work this year, but I am still full time employee. Whether I can get this benefit this year?
Thank you very much!
