傳真終止合同有效嗎?

如果合同裏有以下條款, 而我以傳真的方式通知對方終止合同有效嗎? 我用的是合同上的傳真號碼. 謝謝!

"To cancel this transaction, mail, or deliver a signed and dated copy of this cancellation notice or any other written notice, or send a telegram, to (the company address)."
