there is no minimum limit for property damages in your auto insurance. if damages exceed your insured amount, other party can and will sue you for the remaining. So find out if that 29K amount is covered under your insurance, if your insurance company refuse to pay, then you can sue them, otherwise you are personally liable for the full amount.
