我犯法了嗎？

我碰到一件很麻煩的事情，我參加一個BOARD考試，有一種考試材料很貴，我從朋友哪裏買到USED ORIGINIAL BOOKS，看了覺得不是很好，就打算在網上賣了，我的廣告中說明是ORIGINIAL BOOKS，因為價高，幾乎沒有人要，因為很多人都在賣COPY，比我的便宜一半，有個人來問我就把自己的IDENTITY給了他，不一會這個公司就給我發EMAIL說我違反了COPYRIGHT LAW， 他們已經報告給司法部，並報告給BOARD禁止我參加考試，都好幾天沒睡覺了，我不知道如何處理？是不是賣USED ORIGINIAL BOOKS也是違法的，警察會來我家查嗎？如果賣USED ORIGINIAL BOOKS不是違法，我是不是要起訴這個公司？
