請問，我有權利拒絕出庭作證嗎？

我在德州，我們小區有個台灣人和她老公離婚，我們隻是鄰居，她也沒有任何朋友。她要求我出庭作證她老公abuse她，但是我從來沒看到過。今天她給我message說，她的律師會要求法庭強迫我出庭，我無任何權力拒絕。請問，真的是這樣嗎？那到時候我的孩子誰替我照顧？當然這不是我不去作證的主要原因，主要我對他們不熟並且對這個人沒什麽好印象。
