請問懂法國男和法國約會文化的姐妹一個問題

網上和一個在美國的法國男認識將近1周，聊得很好，第一次體驗他們如何表達愛和調情，也互相看了照片，互相喜歡。好像按美國約會文化，雙方知道基本情況後大家都是會馬上約著見麵了，但這個法國男說他不喜歡匆忙見麵，希望我們在網上再繼續交流，build more solid foundation後才能見麵，加上工作忙，希望我們能再網上交流2周，他也需要時間準備讓第一個約會 be romantic and beautiful, it's important to him, 而我覺得網上聊得再好都是虛的，得盡快見麵（喝杯咖啡就行）才能確定喜不喜歡真人。有經曆過法國男或懂的姐妹給點意見，法國約會文化是要聊3周才願意見麵嗎，這麽矯情嗎？多謝。
