US army has a rule - no serviceman can stock up long hair. Well, General Herg, the Commander in Chief of NATO, had beautiful long hair.
A soldier saw from a journal a picture of General Herg. He then torn the picture down and posted it on the door of the Company Commander's office with an arrow pointing to the General and a writing: "Look at his hair, please."
The Lieutenant took a look at the picture and the "protest". He did not call the soldier and give sharp criticism. He simply prolonged the arrow and so pointing to General's collar with a writing too: "Look at his official rank, please."
