初中以上的數學基本上都是洋人創造的了，什麽幾何代數三角函數，微積分，數論，概率十分高深的數學理論基本上都是洋人創造的。至於發現圓周率和勾股定理，那基本上屬於算術範疇。同時期的歐幾米德幾何不知道要先進多少。
　至於在國外的中國孩子數學普遍較好。這有兩個因素：
１。出國的父母普遍是高學位，經過高考的遴選，智商普遍較高。
２。中國父母給小孩吃小灶。不光自己，而且參加各種補習班。
３。得益於大陸水平較高的數學教育。中國高考的數學題，很多名牌的大學學生都解不了。
４。中國人偏重應試教育，有多練習題的嗜好。　
另外，西方的數學教育似乎側重點不一樣。下麵是俺孩子的ｈｏｍｅｗｏｒｋ，看看咱們能否做出來？

第一題：人口普查時，調查人員問Ａｍｙ家人的基本情況。Ａｍｙ說：我有三個女兒。她們年齡相乘等於３６。調查人員說：條件太少我們不能確定她們的年齡，你能告訴我她們年齡相加等於多少嗎？Ａｍｙ說：說了對你也沒有幫助，但我大女兒喜歡狗。
從上麵的對話出發你能知道Ａｍｙ　三個女兒的年齡嗎？

第二題：樓下有三個開關，其中任何一個都可能控製樓上的一個燈。目前三個開關都處於關的狀態。你有一次上樓檢查燈泡狀態的機會。問怎麽做才能確認哪一個開關控製那盞燈。
