我剛來米鍋時，英文很爛。尤其是發那幾個元音，永遠搞不清嘴什麽時候該圓，什麽時候該扁。那時有個電視台放係列劇《Law & Order》，每次插播廣告時會說：“Law & Order would be right back!",可我一學，LG竟聽成：“Low & Oder would be red bike!"---- 這是引子。

話說，我那時全職在家帶一歲的兒子，我家住在一個小山下的公寓裏。公寓社區的遊泳池就在小山頂上。一個周末，我和LG帶著兒子去遊泳，遇到個米鍋媽媽帶著個和我兒子差不多大的小孩。她熱情的和我們聊了起來，憑著一些單詞和LG偶爾的翻譯，我明白她問我可不可以讓兩個孩子時不時一起玩玩兒。我當然說：“YES！”接著她又問我住在哪裏？我本來想說：“If you go down this hill, you will find the building where we live.(如果你走到這個山下，你會看到我們住的那棟樓）"

但話從我嘴裏出來，音兒是這個：“If you go down the hell, you will find the building where we live (如果你下了地獄，你就會看到我們住的那棟樓）”

當時就見那媽媽張著嘴，半天說不出話。我還不明就理，使勁說：“Go down the hell! You need to go down the hell! Then you will see!"

回頭再看LG，隻見他滿臉通紅，一個猛子紮到水裏，半天不見蹤影。

從此，每遇小山，我都會被LG嘲笑一番，現在還鬱悶ing
