a few years ago when IT was hot, Chinese students with History, English background could get a Computer Science master degree, and got a good programming job.

My sister got her BA and MA in English major from Beijing Univ. Now she is a top programmer in a database firm, didn't have computer science degree in US.

Actually if you are good in math, you can do many things.
