婚姻篇（2）

你因沒理性而結婚，因沒耐性而離婚。因沒記性而再婚。

You get married for lack of judgment---you get divorced for lack of patience, then you remarry for lack of memory.

 

婚姻是一種精心設計的遊戲，讓兩個自私的人定期覺得他們並不自私。（以為自己在婚姻中是奉獻的一方。）

Marriage is just an elaborate game that allows two selfish people to periodically feel that they are not.

 

人們若不因雞毛蒜皮的原因而結婚，就不會因雞毛蒜皮的原因而離婚。(草率結婚必定草率離婚。)

 

People wouldn’t get divorced for such trivial reasons if they didn’t get married for such trivial reasons.

婚姻是你老婆去發現她本來想找個什麽男人的過程。（真的是恨不相逢未嫁時!）

Marriage is the process of finding out what kind of man your wife would have preferred.

 

影星嘉寶光是在婚姻殿堂的過道上走來走去就走了好幾千英裏。（連伊麗莎白泰勒都要甘拜下風！）

Zsa Zsa Garbor has logged millions of miles just walking up and down wedding aisles.

 

不管你長相如何，嫁給和自己年齡相仿的男人是明智之舉。隨著你的風華漸褪，他的視力也漸褪。（眼不見為淨。）

Whatever you may look like, it’s wise to marry a man your own age. As your beauty fades, so will his eyesight.

 

因不愛男人而離婚，就和因愛男人而結婚一樣愚蠢。（婚姻是愛的墳墓。離了婚豈不是死無葬身之地？）

Getting divorced just because you don’t love a man is almost as silly as getting married just because you do.

 

很少婚姻能夠比家用電器保修期長的。（尤其是現在還有保修延長期呢。）

Few marriages outlast the appliance warranties.

 

婚姻就象通宵營業的便利店。品種花樣不多，可是在淩晨三點，它還是開門營業。（在那個時候誰都不會太挑剔的！）
