喝毒藥死前很難受的，劇痛、痙攣，一直疼到死，，，，甚至死不了

唐朝宰相 袁恕己 是神龍政變的發動者之一，逼武則天退位，擁立唐中宗複辟。然而中宗是個軟蛋，韋皇後把持朝政，跟情人武三思一起把幾個重臣貶到邊疆，袁恕己貶到環州（甘肅），然後讓周利貞把他們除掉。

周利貞把袁恕己抓起來，逼他喝下一升的野葛汁。袁恕己體內毒發，疼痛難忍，以手抓地，指甲全被磨盡，但仍不能死，最終被周利貞擊殺。

毒芹汁估計跟野葛汁的意思差不多，這種隻能用一次的東西還是要慎用，不要聽別人亂講，耳聽為虛。
