綠卡批準前結婚，配偶不能立刻來美國，等你綠卡批準後再為她申請。到時她可以拿移民簽證來美。所需時間大概是幾個月。
綠卡批準後結婚，配偶也不能立刻來美國。你也在美國為她申請，當申請的類別不同，每年有名額限製。到時她也拿移民簽證來沒，所需時間超過4-5年。

如果實在來不及而你又有其他非移民身份的話，如H1，不妨考慮撤回485申請。結婚後配偶以H4來美，然後再遞485。

一家隻要有一個人140批準就可以了。
