Dear Duo Duo and other friends,
I read your question posted dec, 04' about the request for more evidence-birth certificate. I don't know how did you solve the problem.
Now I am having the same problem, USCIS asks for birth certificate, which must be issued by the appropriate civil authority showing timely registration, date and place of birth, and parents' names. Along with that there should be a translation.
I initially submitted a notarized document showing my birth date, place and my parents names, which is very similar to most of our chinese people's . Unfortunately, I don't have a certificate like many people born in 70's, Any suggestions or experienc would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!
Thanks for a million and waiting for your kind reply!
