labor certification and 140 don't require that you have to work in the usa. At this time you don't have to work in the USA. Be sure that you choose consulant process instead of I-485 when you file I-140. then your file will be transfered to Beijing or Guangzhou after I-140 is approved. They will ask you to show an offer from american company when you are interviewed. In fact, most nurses and med. doctors immigrant to the USA in the same way. As long as you are offered a job with same kind work, you will issure immigrant visa. it is very fast. after 140, only a few of months to get a gc. A friend of mine was a airplane pilot working for UPS Beijing and get a gc in same way.
