真的沒人知道biometrics的事嗎？求助

剛剛收到fingerprint的通知要做biometrics。請問這是要查什麽呀？是name check嗎？是背景調查嗎？要多久呢？真是鬧心呀。不是我羅嗦，而是從沒聽說過這事。我已經在2周前做過FBI的fingerprint了。現在這個不是給FBI的，所以在此求助。誰有這方麵的經曆呀？
很多事沒有趕到個人頭上就不能理解，如果有些朋友覺得我太麻煩那麽就請理解吧。理解萬歲嘛。
