F1, has AP, but no EAD yet

Hi, Sorry I can't input Chinese now.

I filed 485 with my hu*****and earlier and got AP last year. His 140 was approved recently (EB1, OR, vermont center, RD 01/2004), so I want to go home in March.

The problem is that I haven't applied for EAD yet. I did not know until recently that I'd need EAD to work as RA after I use my AP. I'll apply for it asap, but it might not be approved before I leave. So my questions are:

1) When will I lose my F1 status, the date I leave US, or the date I use AP to come back?

2) Say if I lost F1 on date A, and get EAD on date B, and B is later than A, what's my status? Can I still receive stipend? Or at least, do I still have the legal status to go to classes (tution is part of my RA's compensation)?

3) Is it possible to expedite the EAD processing? and how?
