lawyer dose not help you anything but with a signature on your 485 form. all these things you need to prepare by yourself no matter DIY or by lawyer. If you do not need EAD and AP, that is much simpler. I just filed my own, and compiled this list, it takes a few days. I hope it will of some help to all.
