請教8老師， 

我2020年8月14日從網上申請十年綠卡更新， 之後一月內收到收據。 我綠卡2021年8月1日到期。 2021年三月收到自動一年延期的文件。 2021年六月去打指紋。 現在網上信息是“As of July 20,2021, we are actively reviewing your form I-90. Our records show nothing is outstanding at this time..." 我12 月1 日，打電話查詢，收到email說12 月23 日會處理這個查詢。 沒有收到回複。 我一月四日又有電話查詢。

現在發現我填表時誤選了2.j "I have prior edition of alien registration card or replace my current card for a reason that is not specified above". 有律師說需要馬上重新申請I90，

-I don't think you need to re-file I-90 unless your application is denied. USCIS has your all record and they will find this error and fix it for you because this kind of error is very common and is not your intended hiding or cheating. 

 

我這種情況現在能直接申請公民嗎？ 

-Yes. You do not have to renew the green card if you apply for the US citizenship even if the current green card expired.

The only problem is that you cannot travel outside US before you get the US citizenship due to your green card expiration.
