8 老師。Renew green card 問題

請教8老師， 

我2020年8月14日從網上申請十年綠卡更新， 之後一月內收到收據。 我綠卡2021年8月1日到期。 2021年三月收到自動一年延期的文件。 2021年六月去打指紋。 現在網上信息是“As of July 20,2021, we are actively reviewing your form I-90. Our records show nothing is outstanding at this time..." 我12 月1 日，打電話查詢，收到email說12 月23 日會處理這個查詢。 沒有收到回複。 我一月四日又有電話查詢。

現在發現我填表時誤選了2.j "I have prior edition of alien registration card or replace my current card for a reason that is not specified above". 有律師說需要馬上重新申請I90，我這種情況現在能直接申請公民嗎？ 請教8老師的建議。非常感謝您的回複！
