第一次被拒是因為沒有遞交I944，但後來I944不需要了，所以我加了封cover letter原封不動地重新遞交了之前的申請。（多謝8老師之前的幫助！）

結果這一次被拒說是filed on an outdated form，原來I485表格換版本了

我準備盡快重新遞交，因為spouse最近失業了，需要EAD卡找工作。

不過兩次拒信中還有一個奇怪的原因"payment ammount is incorrect, or has not provided"。

我個人沒有其它附加的申請，但spouse同時提交了765和131。

我付的是個人支票，兩張支票，每張支票$1225，標注了申請人姓名，也寫了for I485 application & Biometric fee. 第一次我以為是因為支票沒有按USCIS網站上要求的格式填寫，所以第二次很仔細地填了支票，但還是說incorrect ammount。

我在網上查了很久，發現可能是spouse的765 EAD申請表格表格上的category寫錯了。他是副申請人填的是(c)(36)。

 

這裏是不是應該填(c)(9)?

-Yes, it is (c)(9) which is the category for all I-485 based EAD cases. There is not filing fee for the EAD and AP applications in your case. So, the fee of $1225 is correct. 

但是即使如此，為什麽我的申請也會有incorrect ammount這樣的錯誤呢？-If you filled (c)(36) for the EAD category, then you need to pay the filing fee of $410. But actually your EAD category is (c)(9).

還有就是，現在這樣的形勢下，過去學生時代的黨員身份對485轉身份有影響嗎？

-Hard to say due to the hostile atmosphere between China and US in these days. I think it is case by case.
