8老師好！剛剛博士畢業，答辯通過，回中國探親，因為疫情斷航回不來美國。本來已經找好了美國的工作，等著簽H1 visa回美國，前兩天川普宣布一直到年底都沒有H簽證了，現在著急怎樣才能回美國。
護照上F1簽證明年才會過期。可否申請OPT，用F1簽證回美？
-Normally, after your graduated, your school will cancel your SEVIS ID if you do not apply for OPT before you left US. Thus, you cannot apply for OPT any more and you cannot get the F1 visa to return to US either unless ypu apply for a new program (get a new I-20).
學校說需要valid的I-94才肯給辦OPT。現在人在國內，我的理解I-94就作廢了吧？-Correct. 還有可能讓學校辦OPT嗎？-No. 有這樣的政策嗎？
另外一個可能是讓學校延一下馬上過期的I-20表，用F1簽證回來。可行嗎？已經答辯通過，不知學校肯不肯給延期I-20表。-If your school has cancelled your SEVIS ID due to your completion of the program, the school cannot extend your I-20 anymore. So, contact your school.
或者8老師能給指出其他途徑回美國。多謝8老師指點！-Try B2 visa. Explain that you need to deal with something in US.
