請教8老師，我男朋友和我打算今年8月結婚。但是現在有空想把J-1豁免現在辦了。我是一直是自費的，現在j-1做博後；打算向中國大使館申請no objection statement。

如果我以結婚做理由，現在還沒有結婚，拿別的什麽材料證明比較有效？我男朋友寫一個statement可以麽？附上一些照片之類的。

-Marriage is not relalted to J-1 waiver, so if you use this as the J-1 waive rreason, probably it will not be accepted by the Chinese Embassy or US Department of State and USCIS.

另一個辦法是要現在的導師寫信，隻是含糊的說會支持我的職位（並不明確說支持h1b），這樣的支持信有用嗎？

-J-1 waiver is for H-1 status and/or green card application. Otherwise, you don't need to get J-1 waiver.
