公民申請媽媽綠卡，6個月，石沉大海

我媽用B-2簽證到美國，三個月後給她申請綠卡， 本人是公民。8月中旬遞交材料，收到了掛號信的回執。但自那之後，快6個月了，沒有任何別的信息， 支票沒有兌錢，也沒有什麽case number，打指模之類，石沉大海。

這正常嗎？要去問嗎？怎麽問？
