Extend to stay in US for Caimm

Hi, my stay in US will expire in Jan 05. However, I submitted my supplementary matarials to Buffalo only in Nov. I am waiting for PP request. I want to extend my stay in the US so as to get the visa done. My H1b was denied. We are F pending now, with my hu*****and as the F1, my son and me F2. In case, it is denied, I want to apply for F1 in order to extend our stay for two or three months. My question:
1. If my hu*****and's F1 was denied, how many days do we have before we leave for China?

2. Do I have time to apply for F1 right after that F1 is denied?

3. Any other good ways for us to stay longer in US to wait for CA immigration visa?

4. How long should we wait if we return to China in our situation? Will get PP request from H.K. consulate? ( Live in Guangxi)

Any suggestions are highly appreciated. Tired of all the troubles. Just want to get a green card no matter it is in Canada or what.
