獲得綠卡並在美國居住時間也超過30個月。還有兩年才到5年公民申請的期限。現在海歸，白皮書也申請了。希望能保持綠卡並在2年後申請公民。

1. 想問一下，一般來說，是不是 有白皮書，按規定報稅，每半年回來一次到時候申請公民就一般就不會有問題？
-Yes, had better visit US every 5 months (not stay in China for > 6 months continuously in case your physical presence continuity is disrupted.

看到有人說要有evidence證明你和美國的聯係，比如房地產，小孩在美國讀書之類的。
-It does not matter because you have reentry permit which means you does not abandon your permanent resident status intent.

 我現在的狀況是：小孩是美國出生，但是全家海歸，也準備按美國方式報稅，但是比較猶豫是不是應該把房子賣掉。人在中西部，房子的投資價值比較低，傾向於賣。但是如果是需要房產之類的來證明和美國的聯係，也可以把房子租出去。所以請教這個申請房產evidence是不是有必要keep?

2. 如果把房子賣了，報稅的時候是不是就要另外找一個美國國內的常住地址？如果要，一般大家怎麽找這個地址呢？
-You may use your friend's address temporally.

是用郵寄的mailbox嗎？
-No.

3. 還有個問題是關於填公民申請表。為了理解公民申請的要求，我看了一下。要求填過去5年的居住地。在這裏是不是都應該盡量填寫美國的地址，即使你身在中國？ 如果不是，那是不是每半年一次的短暫回美國的地址也應該填寫？
-You need to report your address in China, and also the US address you live temporarily such as your friend's address. 

4. 在填公民申請表中，instruction裏說 to be eleigbile, "you have lived within the state or USCIS district where you claim residence for at least 3 months prior to filing". 這是不是說你在申請前的必須在申請的州住至少3個月，但不一定是在申請前的3個月，對嗎？
-You need to live in the state at least 3 months (latest 3 months) just before you file N-400.
