首先要感謝8老師在過去的幾年對我在有關移民問題上給與的巨大的幫助。從我的公民申請到我母親的綠卡申請，我都是一步一步按著8老師的指點，回答，自己填表申請成功的。現在又有了問題，首先想到的是8老師還在不在論壇上。好，我長話短說。我母親的綠卡在2011年批下來了，可是她於2011年11月回中國後就沒再來，因為各種原因。本想既然放棄了，就準備在中國養老了，可現在隨著年紀增加，身體也越來越不好，還是想跟女兒住（就是我）。所以我想能否再給她申請一次綠卡呢？
-Yes. She needs to abandon her green card in any one of the US Consulates in China, and then she may apply for the B2 visa to enter US at the same time or later. Thus, you can sponsor her green card again as you did before. Or you file I-130 for her to apply for immigration visa in China after she abandons her green card.

我的問題就是如果曾經放棄過綠卡，能否再次申請？
-Yes. No problem.

如果可以，有什麽特別的要求嗎？
-No, but she needs to give up the invalid green card first.
