140已經批準，485 pending, 申請了EAD/AP。但是一個月前隻收到了paper 的 EAD Approval Notice (I-765)（包括AP）；網上查 EAD／AP combo card 一個月前就寄出了, 地址也沒錯, 郵局tracking number也顯示delivered， 可一直就是沒收到 combo card. 天天和郵局打架，一周了也沒結果。打電話到移民局給做了service request，但說要1月後才能再打電話問結果. 我問： 屆時會是什麽結果，居然說不知道。我有以下問題麻煩8老師給澄清一下：

最近有急事要回國，必須有EAD／AP combo card才行吧？
-Correct.

那個paper 的 EAD Approval Notice（包括AP）不能用吧？
-No. But because it has been approved and if someone receive it later and mail it to you, you will be fine to use it to come back. The risk is that if the AP is not received, you will be trouble to come back.

好像隻能做加急AP？加急AP好像隻能是近親屬有急病這個原因嗎？
-Because the AP has been approved, I am not sure whether the local office will issue the emergency AP to you, but it does not hurt you to try.

這是我第1個EAD, H1B下個月就過期，本來想用EAD了，所以就沒有延期H1B，屆時可以憑 paper的EAD Approval Notice 工作嗎?
-As long as your employer agree you to work, it is fine for to continue your job due to the EAD approval (it is legal for you to work, but your employer also has the right to stop your work because you can not show them your EAD).

還是必須等到再申請收到EAD／AP combo card？ 如果必須等，由於H1B下個月就到期，新卡肯定拿不到了；那麽工作（工資）應當停下來嗎？這個工作gap對未來的綠卡批準有影響嗎？
