Dear 8 laoshi,
I received the I-140 receipt notice.  The "Priority Date" listed on the receipt was NOT my PERM priority date, it was the date when USCIS received my I-140 package.
-It does not matter. Your PD will be established only after your I-140 is approved. So, check it in your I-140 approval notice some time later and it should be the date your PERM was filed.

  Is this correct?  Much appreciated.
