J1博後三年多了，最近聯係到一個實驗室，老板確定給offer。但是谘詢了學校的International Center，得到的回複是，J1 transfer時DS-2019表的第四項“subject/field code”必須是一樣才行，
就是說研究領域必須類似。我聯係的新老板其實做的東西和我目前的課題很像，但是我問了一下他組裏的一個博後，得知這個博後的“subject/field code”和我的完全不一樣。不知道我現在這種情況怎

樣才能換到新課題組。
1）難道我不能transfer，隻有拿到新的DS-2019，出境，再申請新visa？
2）我還沒辦waiver，可以再拿第二個J1嗎？-Yes兩個J1加起來一共能用5年？-Yes., total is five years no matter how many time you do IJ-1 transfer..
