If the company pays attorney's fee, then of course you don't have to do DIY.
Otherwise, if the person has to pay on his/her own on H1 application, DIY can save a lot of money.
Of course everyone knows the H1's petitioner should be the company. But this does not prevent a person (perhaps the beneficiary) from gathering documants for the company,just like a lawyer does, right?
