回複：485 副申請人批了, 主申請人還沒有批, Another question to ask Pjiang, teacher

Here is my situation:

We filed 485 for three times:

-Did you hire a lawyer to help? If so, that lawyer is horrible. Actually each of your family only need one I-485 and then, do I-485 relink to save your money and save USCIS time/efforts. 

1) 1st 485s (including me and my wife) based on my wife's EB3 140 filed on july 2007;

2) 2nd 485s (including me and my wife) based on my wife's EB3 140 filed on August 2007 (the reason we filed this one is because we did not receive the receipt for july 07 filing, and we withdrew 2nd on Nov 07 after we received receipt for the 1st 485 filing)

3) 3rd 485s (including me, my wife adn daughter) based on my EB2 140 filed on april 2012. we received RFE for this 3rd 485 filing on august 2012.

Now, USCIS approved my daughter 485 filed in 3rd 485 April 2012 (including me, my wife and daughter) based on my EB2 I-140 and approved me and my wife's 2nd 485 (including me, my wife) filed on Aujust 2007 based on my wife's EB3 I-140 (i.e., we already asked them to withdraw).

In my situation, does USCIS made some mistakes OR this is normal?

-If the EB3 I-140 PD is current, it is normal and nothing worried because USCIS normally combine all of your family cases together for consideration. The only thing you need to pay attention to is whether all of your family I-485s' approval were based on the I-140 (e.g. EB3) which PD was current.
