我是H4，2000年回國兩個月後，又入境，護照顯示應在2001年8月5日離境，因錯誤理解以前的H4文件（有效期是今年的10月20日）。所以我沒有在去年的8月5號出境或申請延期。在我先生今年再次申請H1時，律師發現我屬於非法居留。
律師的建議是：1.在本州的相關部門申請，看我是否能夠得到豁免。繼續居留。
