回複：I-94 緊急求助！

我持H1工作簽證。今天從中國返回美國通過海關。我的I-797   2014年7月到期，我的護照2013年2月到期，所以海關官員 給我的I-94 only 到2013年2月。當時海關官員說我換了護照以後可以聯係USCIS更換I-94， 但是學校說我必須在2013年2月離境重新申請簽證。我已經被check了3次，每次4-5周，實在不想離境重新申請簽證，有什麽辦法嗎？

-Ask the school to file the H-1 extension (File I-129) before 2013年2月, your current I-94 expiration date, so that you do not need to go out of US to get the visa to come back.

The H1 visa is valid for one year, right? So, another choice is that after you renew your apssport, you may go to Mexico or Canada and come back to get a new H1 I-94 at the port of entry before your current H1 visa expires.

聽說在墨西哥和加拿大簽一樣會check被對嗎？
