回複：回國結婚，單身認證

第一次在這發帖，大家好，老師們好。

問一下回國結婚在這邊要做的準備。先謝謝了。我現在美工作，H1-B（中國公民）。

第一，我的國內身份證過期了，這對回國結婚沒影響吧？

-No. Use your passport for it.

第二，單身證明：沒時間親自去領事館（我在Houston領館的轄區）去做公證，就準備做認證了，畢竟認證可以讓別人代辦。在網上研究了好幾天（不要笑話我，嘿嘿），似乎程序是這樣：自己打印好那個單身聲明書（中文的），

然後找一個notary public，在其麵前簽名，然後notary public證明簽名真實，然後一級一級向上作認證，一直到州一級的認證，最後到領事館作認證。請大俠們指教。

-Yes, but had better notarize your statement/signature in the local court house, not the bank, etc. then, send this notarized statement to your State Secretary to 認證 (ask the court house for the address) and then, send the 州認證 document to the Chinese consulate to 認證.

如果真是這樣，我有個疑問：到底哪一步證實了我的單身狀況？

-Your own statement 證實your單身狀況. All the other procedure just sonfirm that statment is yours. If you make a fault statement, you have to be responsible for all the consequences including going to jail.

 

那道說所有的步驟隻是證明我的簽字是真的？真要是這樣的話，何不直接在國內結婚登記時直接簽單身證明（這樣的簽名是最真實的了吧），何必用繁瑣的認證（或公證）手續來證明？（最後一段我就是好奇，達人們有情趣就指點一下。）

除了單身聲明，還有別的要準備的沒有？
